Applicants should submit a list of prospective repertoire and letters of recommendation, recordings, résumés or curriculum vitae. Composers should submit scores and brief biographical material (see CALL FOR SCORES). Applicants will be notified of their acceptance. Those not accepted as active participants are encouraged to enroll as auditors, and invited to register for private lessons with the faculty. Material should be submitted to:

Please provide a list of repertoire you are interested in performing. We welcome the opportunity to hear any contemporary music you may be bringing. Auditors may simply register with the NEC Summer School office.

CALL FOR SCORES: The New England Conservatory Summer Institute for Contemporary Piano Performance is seeking scores for both mixed ensembles and piano or instrumental solo to be performed during the June, 2010 course (June 12 - 19). Scores can be of a range of difficulties. The selected works will be performed by advanced students attending the course and discussed in masterclass and individually by composer-in-residence Chaya Czernowin. Composers whose pieces are selected are expected to attend the course for the composer's fee of $650.

Review of submissions for performance begins April 15th.
Composers should submit scores (with minimal biographical information) to:

SICPP Fees

Non-credit: $600 pianists; $500 percussionists; $500 instrumentalists/vocalists (NEC college and summer school credit also available)
Composers: $650
Electronic Workshop: $500
Auditors: $275
All the above require a $35 registration fee.
Early bird discount: Performers registering before March 1st can subtract $50 from the above fees.
Limited financial aid available.
